We’ve heard you, and we’re excited to introduce our Bring Your Own Vessel (BYOV) Candle Making experience! For all those in our community who love the idea of reusing and refilling their favorite candle vessels, this is the perfect opportunity to breathe new life into those cherished containers.
Simply show up with a clean vessel, and we’ll provide everything else you need to create a fresh, new candle—100% soy wax, wicks, and a variety of delightful scents to choose from. Whether you’re reviving a beloved candle holder or experimenting with something new, our BYOV Candle Making experience offers a fun and sustainable way to craft a candle that’s uniquely yours. The price is $1.95 per ounce, so you can customize your candle to the perfect size for your vessel.
We collect a $10 deposit for the reservation but your total will be based on the amount of wax used during the candle making process.
How to Clean and Prepare Your Vessel:
1. Remove Old Wax: If there’s any remaining wax, you can either gently heat the vessel (using warm water or a hairdryer) to soften the wax or pour boiling water into the vessel and let it sit. The heat will melt the wax, making it easier to remove. For the wick base, either method will help loosen it, allowing you to pry it off more easily.
2. Clean Residue: After removing the wax and wick base, wipe out any residue with a paper towel. For stubborn spots, use a bit of rubbing alcohol to clean the interior thoroughly.
3. Wash and Dry: Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water, and ensure it’s completely dry before bringing it in.
The process can take 25-45min and your candle will need to cool 1-2 hour depending on the size. Once the candle(s) cool, we'll trim the wick and it will be ready for pick up. You can also have your candle shipped to you if that is more convenient. Walk in or book your session today, and let’s get creative!
Orders are shipped 24-48 hours after being received. We process and ship all orders from our shop in Atlanta, GA. Ground shipping varies based on location and is typically 1-5 days.
